Just because the weather is getting a bit cooler outside doesn’t mean we can’t still spend a couple of hours together in an air-conditioned theater!  It’s time for our next Footcandle Film Society and we will like to invite you to our next (albeit slightly late) screening.  Our next screening will be held on Thursday, September 17th at the Carolina Theatre in Downtown Hickory.  The screening will start at 7:00pm following some short announcements and introductions.

This month we will be showing the film “Moon” starring Sam Rockwell and featuring the voice of Kevin Spacey.  The film is a moon-based science-fiction story directed by Duncan Jones, who happens to be rock star David Bowie’s son.

Admission is $5.00 at the door for non-members, free for current Footcandle members.  The show will start shortly after 7:00pm, following some introductions and announcements, and a discussion will be held immediately afterwards to discuss the film for anyone who wants to stick around.
